Project #5 in '50 in 2008 challenge' - Only One Wish 2008 Birthday Card edition of 25
Yes, I know. I missed a day in May! Eek. After a really, super long Sunday which involved occupying a 3 year old and a puppy and the driving nearly 3 hours of a 4 hours trip home, then topping that off with having to get up only 6 hours after returning home. I. Was. Beat. Yesterday.
I remembered that I didn't blog as I was drifting off to sleep. And there was no way I was getting out of bed, no matter the guilt.
But today's a new day. A very special day, indeed. Today marks Craft & Clutter's 2nd Anniversary. Two years, and probably stronger than ever.
To mark the event, I'm going to do a GIVE-AWAY!!!! Yay, my first. No pictures of the item yet, but since this is a birthday of sorts and my birthday is at the end of the month, I'm going to make a birthday banner to celebrate. Kinda like this. And while I'm at it, I'm going to make one for myself as well. So it's a twofer of crafting motivation.
To make things more fun, I thought I'd ask for anyone who wants to be put in the drawing to share their favorite birthday tradition with me. I'm always on the look out for new traditions to start, especially since our family is starting to grow (no Mom, I'm not pregnant…I mean Nibs).

As for my image up there, that's the elusive project number 5 in my '50 in 2008 Challenge.' The 2008 block print edition of birthday cards. Hand tinted, and really still not done. But it just seemed appropriate because of the timing. I swear I will sit down and finish them one of these days.

My favorite birthday tradition is decorating my birthday cake. We don't really do anything special but for the past couple years my mom has made my cake and I decorate it. It's so much fun!!
