The work week is finally over, thank goodness. We started the weekend off right with a healthy meal enjoyed outdoors watching our crazy pup act like a maniac and eat trees.
Yes, she likes to eat trees.
A couple weekends ago, Mike cut down this oddly placed tree in our yard. Nibbler has been enjoying the stump every day since. A little nibble every time she goes out. But today she must have grown tired of it, she moved on to the trunk of the tree that shades part of our deck. And Mike isn't too happy about it.
In addition to a great meal to start the weekend, we also brought home the newest member of our family…a Nikon D40 DSLR!
Yay! More professional picture-taking capabilities. I plan to head over to the park tomorrow morning with Nibs and search for a special request photo for a special mother.
Also on the slate this weekend: Puppy Time, Buffalo Chicken Dip, some knitting (hopefully), blogging, an American Girl cabinet and perhaps finishing up a really late Christmas present.
So until tomorrow!
