A few weeks ago, after seeing this post from Smitten Kitchen and an abundance of fresh blueberries at the market, I decided to try my hand at making Blueberry Crumb Bars. I think we were in between hot spells, so I felt the urge to bake and who can resist fresh blueberries, right.
Though mine didn't turn out as pretty as the inspiration (I think I used a larger baking dish, so they came out thinner), we did enjoy them for at least a week. That was a good week…
When breakfast, dessert and the occasional snack was taken care of by a sweet treat, without too much added sugar that came from our own kitchen and not a foil wrapper.

Mmmm.... looks good! And I bet it tastes even better. So jealous of your cooking (and food photography skills!)
