My November/December fabric choice - Apples & Pears by Alexander Henry
We decided last month to stretch our next foray into quilt blocking-making through two months as we have the holidays quickly approaching.
I was actually hesitant, but now I'm ever so glad Darcy suggested it. This month has been a flurry of home improvement activity that I haven't even seen my crafting table until tonight, let alone thought of cranking out a project.

Darcy's November/December fabric choice - Midwest Modern Nouveau Trees by Amy Butler
The funny thing is when I received Darcy's package earlier this month, I also received my Amy Butler prize pack from CraftSanity. An interesting coincidence, and hopefully it will help ease my struggle to coordinate fabrics this time around.
Now to find time to figure out a plan. November will be gone in the blink of an eye, and then we'll be at Christmas and the end of this term.
And I'll let you in on a little secret…I haven't exactly finished my own square from the last go-around. I mean, it's all put together and the embroidery is sketched out, but I haven't found the time to sit down and do it. Perhaps Thursday, as I'm hoping this Thanksgiving goes as smoothly as last time.
