New, more expensive fireworks definitely does not mean a better show. This is about as big as the display got here in the capital city. The finale was laughable, we actually sat around for about five minutes thinking there must have been a malfunction, and the good stuff was still to come.
This was the typical display we got. Though this is one of the better one. All and all, we will probably not being celebrating the Fourth in our current downtown again, luckily there are about 3 other shows scheduled the same night. We shall see next year if they prove to be any better.
