Juicy Summer

July Peaches

I forget that I like fresh peaches all year, until they pop up mid summer at the Farmer's Market.

So good.

In fact, I may have to stop by the market tomorrow and pick some more up. They've made for an excellent snack, breakfast and dessert the past few days. Especially broiled, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Yum.

Broiled Peaches
- 1 peach, halved & pitted
- 1/2 tsp of brown sugar
- 1/4 tbp (approx) butter
- 1 scoop vanilla ice cream

1. Sprinkle brown sugar on top of each half of peach and top with a small bit of butter.
2. Set on pan and place under broil for 5 minutes.
3. Place your halves in a shallow bowl and top with scoop of ice cream.
4. Dig in.
