All I can really say is...weird.

Not inedible, but too weird to even finish my bowl. The fresh cantaloupe from the farmer's market was fabulous, I kinda wish I hadn't used it all except a few bites to make the soup because it would have been a yummy snack. And if I was a drinker the pureed soup (before the jalapeno and red onion was added) probably would have made a good mixed drink. Alas I am not.

I'm just not a cold soup person, I guess.
