Cute Enough To Eat.

Line of Girls' Cards
Project #5 in '50 in 2009 Challenge' - 2009 Edition of Birthday Cards

They're fun, right?

A special birthday cupcake for each of our loved ones this year. Made from scraps I've been holding onto, not knowing how I'd ever use them, but knowing I just couldn't throw them away.

I started a little tradition of making our Christmas cards 3 years ago and I threw birthday cards into the mix last year.

This year I'm actually on top of things. The cards completely finished, all 15, in time to send out for the first 2 birthdays of the year, which were in the past two weeks. Last year, though I had printed them all at once, I was hand-tinting (sound much more sophisticated than coloring, right?) each right before sending the cards off.

Line of Boys' Cards

I even created a boy set and a girl set, so not to offend a certain 9-year-old-to-be this year. Because gosh, there would be nothing worse than receiving a pink polka dot cupcake when you're a 9 year old boy.

I have three other completed projects sitting waiting to be blogged about. Actually these pics have been sitting in a draft post since Wednesday. I'm not the quickest, I know. Hopefully having some stored projects will give me a boost to blog a bit more often.
